When my wife filed for divorce and took my son to live across town it was about the most painful thing I could have imagined happening.  I’m a pretty tough guy but there were many days when I would find myself staring at nothing - crying.  I’m not proud of those moments but I couldn’t stop them.

I had always been good at learning things but for about two years I was in a state of despair…moving from one thing to another without connecting to anything – pizza delivery guy, teacher, security system installer, Audio/Video technician… you name it.

Then I “discovered” a hidden community on the internet… with guys making outlandish claims that simply could not be true.

Meanwhile, my son Dante was lost in a public school constantly in trouble, getting bad grades and living with my ex-wife in a not-the-greatest neighborhood which was just slightly better than the one I grew up in.  But I wanted for him to have better than I had.  I wanted him to have his dad around all the time…not just when I could find the time or wasn’t too tired from working all day.

When I discovered this “secret” community I started to experiment with it. I read everything I could find.  I found that there were a few guys that knew what they were doing.  I wanted to grab hold of something amazing and for me… this seemed like it was “it”. 

The seminars were like $700 - $2,500 for one day or one weekend!  I couldn’t pay that.  I couldn’t even consider paying that.  Instead I just immersed myself in research on seducing women.  I also decided to include books on psychology.  The amazing thing that I discovered was that when you got better with women you just plain got better.  No one talked about how you improved as a person…as a man, as a result of this lifestyle.  No one talked about understanding the psychology behind it – I thought if I understood the psychology behind it then I couldn’t fail!

Suddenly I was seducing women – 2 or 3 a week!  I was shocked.  I had come to the center piece of it all – a simple test which all human beings give each other thousands of times a day – The Compliance Test.  Women give a Compliance Test about 13 times in a 30 second conversation.  Wow.  Before I found this “secret” community I was failing between 9 and 13 of them!  Not good!

Now that I had it…what was I going to do with it?

I never lacked for courage in my life…but what I was lacking was a “vision.”  That’s how I would describe it…a “vision” but essentially that means education.  What I lacked was a plan that I wanted to execute but also a plan that I felt was worthwhile to the people I was intending it for. 

I knew from personal experience that people who take advantage of an area of expertise, putting together a product intended only to make money, often didn’t truly understand the subject.  They tended to be less than ideal teachers.  Without passion you can’t come to truly understand something and this is true for all people. 

Well… I had this passion.  I wanted all of my friends to learn what I had just learned.  I started talking to everyone I knew.  Explaining what I had learned and passing on my sources if they asked (they almost never did) and stressing that it had worked like nothing in my life had ever worked!  I was suddenly picking up women on the internet and random places…something I had never done in my life.  Not one single time.  It had always been in a bar when I was drinking…but this felt so much better because it wasn’t luck… I was in control!

You can imagine how shocked I was when almost everyone I talked to… wasn’t interested!  Of the 23 people I discussed it with… only 2 of them even asked a single question.  These are people who knew I was a sharp guy, and saw me with women they had never seen me with… and still!

But the two guys who did question me… I wanted them to succeed… so I would know my success wasn’t due to some stroke of luck, some artificial inflation of my excitement.  I hardly expected them to turn around and use what I was telling them the very next weekend.  One of them, my cousin, called me in the middle of a “routine,” said he was stumped by her and asked what he should do.  I told him and the next day he called me and said, “Wow, bro.  What the f#ck?” 

He had got a model’s phone number.  One day of talking about it and he had got a model’s phone number!  I had never talked to a model! 

“You got it, man!  You got it!”

That’s what he said.  He stressed that I had to write a book.  So I did.

But I didn’t know what to do with the book.  I knew the internet could provide explosive sales but I wasn’t sure how.  I once again did a BUNCH of research! (It’s what I’m good at, what can I say?) I had criteria… I wanted to do it ALL for free.  I’m all about doing things for free!!!

What I learned in my research was that selling on the internet was unlike selling anywhere else.  So I had to start a whole new area of research! (What can I say?)  I found there was a wealth of information but it was all one big circle.  This site would say this site and this site was great… and that one would say this one and this one.  But I had no way to determine who knew what they were talking about. 

I needed external sources.  So I started looking for magazine articles and things like that.  I’m not sure how I ended up finding Ken Envoy’s Sitesell… but they had some free ebooks about it all and I thought “free?” – I’ll take it. More research! (What can I say?)

I started checking up on their clients…using their free tools!  All their clients had such simple web pages… I then used Google to reaffirm my results… they had amazingly HIGH ratings.  But they seemed so simple! 

Sitesell wasn’t free but they provided the things I was going to have to pay for anyway like a webpage host provider… but I would have paid the price just for the ebooks they just gave me.  They were a way for me to follow my dreams.  Ken said, “People want to share your passions.” That’s not just great business advice…it’s great advice.  Make money from what you love!

I knew I had found the system.  Soon enough I was able to make enough money from my webpages that I could have my son, Dante, over all the time.  I didn’t need extra time to go to bars looking for women… I could call them and have them come over whenever I felt like it.  It freed everything up… on the inside and the outside.

Dante isn’t on the honor roll yet (Will he ever be!?! LoL) but now we travel together which is truly the best thing that’s ever happened to me.  Because of the power I radiate from my pick-up artist training (I told you – you BECOME a better person!) he looks up to me in a way that never would have happened if I hadn’t discovered that secret community and written a book about learning to control women.
