My name is Shane. I'm dealing with some infidelity sh*t right now. Went through all the emotions and we are rebuilding our relationship. I read one of your responses on some website (sorry can't remember) to a guy that was in the same boat as I am. Then I read a couple links to your articles on the alpha male. In your article "The secret power of the alpha male to create uncontrollable reactions in women" I'm the ordinary guy. That's one of the many reasons my wife and I are in the situation we are in. We both have some issues but I lack a lot of self esteem. I read your articles and they're helping me see that, well, I'm a wussy. I'm surprised she came running back to me. She cheated, we both split for awhile, she ran back blah blah. I know there is something good about me she loves. My respect, honor, work ethic, physical features etc etc. But I want more. I want her to get excited around me. I want that uncontrollable desire again. Do you have more articles on this subject, alpha male? I've already started thinking a bit differently and it's kind of working. I've been beat down my whole life and this is my chance to step up and take charge. Unfortunately with the low self esteem I have I need a little push. Don't get me wrong the articles I could find are f-ing great, but I need a little more to help my mind be stronger. Trust me, I've read your articles a few times. Hey, if you can send me a link, or advice that'd be great. If not, I'm sure you're busy and I appreciate your time.

Dear Dan,

You're website is a bunch of crap! The things you talk about are offensive and put women down. I couldn't believe some of the things I read.

I'm not sure why, but I tried the things on the "Flirt" page. I couldn't believe how my girlfriend smiled. She actually did that thing where a girl laughs and punches you in the arm. Gave me a lot to think about. I decided to order the book. In the book you were always talking about these "Beta" guys and what they did. I saw immediately that they were me.

You know, Dan, I don't like doing the things you talk about. But I can't argue with the results. I realize it's me. But it's getting easier as I go along (I'm writing this after 2 weeks) and we went from fighting, er, arguing about everything to arguing about nothing. I'm not sure of the psychology but I'm sure of the results.

I'm not sure if this letter is praise, I certainly didn't intend it to be, because you've won me over despite my obvious objections. Rachel isn't offended and that's what keeps me coming back to your book. I don't really like the idea of admitting that you're right or of thanking you. But, I am.
